His interests are the study of quantum foundations exploiting photonic systems. He worked on the realization of nonlocality demonstrations in quantum networks and experimental tests on wave-particle duality of photons. He also worked on the realization of quantum metrology platforms and quantum walks involving orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light. In the context of QISS he is working on the realization of photonic simulators of Bose-Marletto-Vedral effect, studied under a quantum information perspective.
