I am interested in how fundamental notions of quantum information theory, such as entanglement and contextuality, when applied to gravity, can illuminate our understanding of how gravity and quantum theory are combined. In particular, I am interested in how these fundamental features can be used to establish laboratory tests of quantum gravity in the near future, which would tell us whether the conventional application of quantum theory to gravity, quantum gravity, is correct. I am also investigating how quantum coherence when applied to causality can help uncover fundamental properties of quantum gravity and establish new ways of approaching this challenging subject.
