My research focuses on the applications of the language of symmetric monoidal and higher categories to foundations of quantum field theory. In particular, together with Robert Oeckl, I work in categorically modelling theories in the General Boundary Formulation and Positive Formalism that implement concepts like symmetry invariance, coherence data, and enrichment.
