My research focuses on covariant Loop Quantum Gravity from its formulation to a numerical implementation. I investigate how the classical theory of general relativity (how apples fall, planets revolve around the sun) emerges from the quantum theory more tailored to describe gravity in extreme curvature regimes (bouncing of black holes or the origin of the universe). I was the pioneer of numerical calculations in this field, and I currently employ High-Performance-Computing to extract numbers from the theory.
