Quantinuum

I am interested in the foundations of quantum theory, broadly understood, but especially in quantum causal structure. How can we define quantum causal relations and what status does ‘quantum causal reasoning’ have? Can quantum causal structure be cast in an entirely compositional and diagrammatic manner? How do quantum causal models interplay with interpretational questions, and in particular, how does causal structure sit with the idea of a fundamentally relational universe?
I am also interested in causation, more generally speaking, including philosophy of causation, purely ‘classical’ causal reasoning and how a string diagrammatic presentation of classical causal models can be actually useful in practice and be pertinent to problems in machine learning.
